Technical Requirements
This site supports Netscape Communicator and Internet Explorer Browsers 4.0 and above. Earlier versions of these two browsers may not be able to access all of the features.
Each of the lessons requires that students "trace" or "outline" geographical features in various maps and photographs using image editing or painting software. The samples on this website were completed using Jasc Software's PaintShop Pro. This is a Shareware product available for free download, but is only available for the PC and not the Mac. Any other software that includes painting or drawing features would work. Examples include Adobe Photoshop (www.adobe.com), CorelDraw or Corel PhotoPaint (www.corel.com), and Macromedia Fireworks (www.macromedia.com).
